What is it about techno that moves you so much?
The driving energy of the bass and the soundscapes that electronic music can create.

When did you realize you wanted to become a DJ?
Back in 1994 when i started listening to techno i got right away hooked to the idea of spinning my own music ...

Can you describe your first experience behind the decks?
P A N I C ! but then such a sense of satisfaction and i enjoyed the music as never before ...

What words of advice do you have for up and coming DJs?
Just be yourself and love the music .. your music.

How did you make the move from DJ'ing to producing?
I always had friends with their hands into machines, however when i met my partner in life and crime Aaron "the pimp" i started taking the whole thing very seriously and learned how to make things as i had in my mind .. see the problem aren't the ideas .. the difficult part is making sure they get out of the speakers as you have them in mind ..

What, according to you, is the characteristic of jacking techno which differentiates it from others styles of techno?
BIG LONGER BASS ! It jacks ! I mean the word itself describe

the genre ... jacking means ? up and down ? The Jackhammer ?
... just kiddin ... it's a very bouncy techno with loads of bass but no much stuff in the middle, often with vocals sounding very "ghetto" ...sometimes i think of it as a sort of slow hardcore ... anyway ... it's been originated in Chicago by Dj Rush, Robert Armani and later on by Dj Bam Bam, Alex Peace, Paul Langley and Jamie Bissmire. Btw .. the word JACK used for music comes from Farley"jackmaster"Funk at the beginning of the 80s.

Which kind of software do you use for production?
Logic, Reason and a Korg electribe.

Any future plans about your productions?
With N7 Records i am planning to release a new EP by July together with Aaron "The Pimp", Djako, Paul Langley and Kaoz & S.Ewe.

The Industrial strength EP with my track will actually come out in September 2008 and will have a track from Aaron "the Pimp" and two from Jamie Ball and Lenny Dee.
... there is also something regarding 6Feet Under of which i can't say much more now.

The record industry has been going through some tough times recently, especially for small independent labels, what is your view of the industry in the short term?
Is difficult now to sell 5000 copies .. but is possible to sell 500 .. The market is extremely rich in productions now as it was before .. the difference is that now there are loads of labels which produce small amounts .. before there were few labels which produced loads and made more money ..

The market now is very competitive, with also all the digital stuff etc, it's getting everyday harder to make a living out of producing records.
Lots of people have to abandon ... it's very hard to have a double life ... working and doing this isn't easy.

What would you like to say to all your fans out there?
KEEP ON JACKIN !
